Testosterone

A testosterone deficiency is not merely a sign of ageing!

Testosterone: More focus. More strength. More you.

Stress, excess weight, chronic illness or medication can also impair production – even in young men.

Testosterone substantially influences:

  • Muscle mass & body fat distribution
  • Energy, concentration & mood
  • Bone density & cardiovascular health
  • Sexual function, libido and general vitality

Possible signs of testosterone deficiency:

  • Persistent exhaustion
  • Lack of drive
  • Declining performance in sport
  • Weight gain concentrated on the abdomen
  • Loss of libido
  • Erectile problems
  • Sleep disorders
  • Depressive mood

How a testosterone deficiency is identified:

A simple morning blood test (fasting) is enough to determine the testosterone level. In addition, the following values can be analysed: free testosterone, LH / FSH (pituitary hormones), SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin).
