Vaccinations for adults

The STIKO (Standing Committee on Vaccination at the Robert Koch Institute) recommends regular boosters and additional vaccinations from the age of 60 and for certain risk groups — so that your protection remains reliable in everyday life and in later years

Vaccinations for adults — because protection knows no age limit.

Routine boosters for all adults:

  • Tetanus and diphtheria – every 10 years
  • Whooping cough (pertussis) – a single dose with the next tetanus booster

From the age of 60 (standard recommendation):

  • Influenza (flu) — annually in autumn
  • Pneumococci – single vaccination from the age of 60
  • Herpes zoster (shingles) — two doses 2 to 6 months apart

From the age of 75 & people at risk from the age of 60:

  • RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) – single vaccination in autumn

Specific vaccinations by year of birth or situation:

  • Measles (MMR vaccination) – for everyone aged 18 and over, born after 1970, with unclear vaccination status
  • COVID-19 – basic protection with at least three antigen contacts (of which ≥ 1 vaccination)
  • COVID-19 – annual booster in autumn from the age of 60

It is this simple:

  • Check your vaccination record — which vaccinations are missing or need a booster?
  • Arrange a vaccination consultation — we will draw up your personal vaccination plan.
  • Have your vaccinations given — individually and according to the STIKO recommendation.

Protect yourself actively – for today, tomorrow and later on.
